The Examination of a Curved Mirror
When we say "curved mirrors" we mean
mirrors the are shaped like a sphere or a globe. These are called
called spherical mirrors. There a generally two types of spherical
mirrors.
- Convex Mirrors
- Concave Mirrors
Think of a globe or sphere, like a balloon or ball.
Now think of what it would look like if you sliced part of the sphere.
A convex mirror is silvered on the outside of the sphere and a concave
mirror are silvered on the inside of the sphere.
