How mirrors work will be explained by the ray nature of light and how
light reflects off of flat and curved surfaces to produce both real and
virtual images. To help you under stand, think of light as a ray,
hence, "the ray nature of light". These rays bounce off of a
surface and we see they as an image. Rays of light bounce
differently when bouncing off of a plane (flat) mirror than they do when
bouncing off of a concave or convex mirrors. One is flat and the
others are round. There are three basic types of mirrors.
What you see is as important as how you see it.
